1505 Establishing an Spiritual Fruit Tree Orchard (1)
Having gone through all of the rewards that had been granted to him following Chu Yang breaking through to the Dao Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao didn't waste any time as he directly set off to deliver the different rewards to the people who would best make use of them. Delivering the spiritual tree sapling to Feng Chen and the General Alchemy Compendium to Pei Yang.
The Talisman Emperor's Notes on Simple Talismans was first copied by him before he similarly handed it off to the elder currently in charge of the sect's talisman development. Hoping that it would be enough to help her break through from the Artisan Realm and finally reach the Master Realm. Allowing the Star Shattering Sect to have a Master Realm Formation Master.
Of course, as he delivered the three different rewards he had received from the system, it didn't take long before they were put to use.
First of all was the General Alchemy Compendium that was rather simple to use, as Pei Yang decided to just have some of the more skilled alchemy elders create copies of the different recipes inside of the book before holding a lecture on alchemy and using the opportunity to spread information on the new recipes in the process. Allowing the rest of the alchemy disciples and elders to easily learn about these new recipes available.
The same happened with the talismans, though on a much smaller scale given the current number of talisman disciples and elders in the sect currently only number a little over a thirty or so. Most of them being from the Spring Flower Sect.
The planting of the spiritual tree saplings on the other hand was a far more troublesome matter, as Feng Chen had to not only find somewhere secure and hidden away to avoid any pests that might be interested in the spiritual fruits, but also had to find a group of spiritual herb farmers who could take care of the spiritual trees.
Even though the sect had expanded a lot over the past few years, the sect had also added on a lot of different spiritual fields to support the growth of the sect. Among them, the spiritual herb field located on the Ninth Star Peak was not even the largest, just the one currently producing the highest quality of spiritual herbs for the sect.
In fact, one of the spiritual fields that the sect had managed to take control of not long ago inside the old territory of the Sky Empire was more than ten times the size of the spiritual herb field on the Ninth Star Peak.
Although this particular spiritual herb field didn't produce any particularly high quality spiritual herbs and mostly produced a large amount of low quality spiritual herbs for the sect, it did require a lot of spiritual herb farmers who dedicated themselves to taking care of the spiritual herbs and ensuring their proper growth.
Because of this, the current Star Shattering Sect was in fact lacking spiritual herb farmers.
At the moment, this problem wasn't that big of a deal, as the sect could still handle the lack of specialized personal by hiring normal mortals to help out when it came to taking care of some of the larger herb fields producing mostly low quality spiritual herbs, but… Adding in the hundred spiritual trees that would all need special care from someone highly skilled in terms of taking care of spiritual plants when they were planted and started adapting to their new environment, the Star Shattering Sect simply didn't have the people required.
Of course, he could pull in some of the spiritual herb farmers on the Ninth Star Peak to care of it, but that would affect the growth of the higher quality spiritual herbs that were in their most delicate period before harvesting at the current moment. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
For this reason, Feng Chen decided to look through the sect for anyone who might be skilled when it came to taking care of plants, as someone with an affinity for the Dao of Life, Nature, Wood or anything along that line would also be able to take care of the spiritual trees with a little bit of knowledge on the growth of spiritual trees.
In the end, this resulted in Feng Chen getting the assistance of Shu Yao and Xuan Hao's newest disciple, Chun Hua.
The reason for this being rather simple, as both of them were in the Domain Lord Realm and had established a domain related to the Dao of Nature, Shu Yao having established a unique flower domain involving the Dao of Nature, Dao of Life and Dao of Flowers and Chun Hua a domain solely built on the Dao of Nature.
Feeling that it would be simple enough to leave it to these two with Shu Yao there to take charge of the situation, Feng Chen ended up deciding to just directly hand over everything to the two of them and let them handle.
Not forgetting to remind the two of them to choose somewhere secluded inside the Shattered Star Peaks to plant the spiritual trees. Stressing the importance of other disciples not learning about the whereabouts of the spiritual trees if possible.
Even though the two of them were not able to understand the reason for this level of secrecy regarding the whereabouts of a few spiritual trees that would be taken care of and guarded around the clock anyway, they still decided to note down what Feng Chen said as they both left with the spiritual tree saplings and began looking for a place to plant them in the Shattered Star Peaks.
Soon enough, the two of them ended up on the Fourth Star Peak that was mostly barren outside of the alpine vegetation that had survived and adapted to live under the chaotic spiritual qi that had been present on the mountain in the past.
The place was obscure and not visited by the disciples or elders of the sect and was at the same time a perfect location to create a small orchard where the spiritual trees could grow with an ample supply of spiritual qi due to there not being a lot of disciples or elders around to absorb it, as most of them would rather stay at the Seventh Star Peak to cultivate where the spiritual qi of the entire Shattered Star Peaks had been concentrated.
