<(Omniscient POV)>

'Who the fuck is this guy?' Tommy Monaghan muttered to himself as he watched Bruce patiently making patterns around a circle on the floor with a piece of chalk. Of course, by now, he already knew of Bruce's real identity as the genius eccentric billionaire of Gotham. However, what he was really confused about was why Bruce was nothing like how the media portrayed him. He was neither a playboy with too much money nor a geeky nerd continuously thinking about changing the world. As a matter of fact, except for being rich, he was the furthest thing from what Tommy had ever imagined for a billionaire like him to be.

"How long is this going to take? It has been two hours since we have been preparing." Nyssa complained in a bored voice while fidgeting with a piece of chalk between her fingers.

"We have to do this perfectly if we truly want to kill the Mawzir without letting him escape... or worse, flipping the tables on us because that is one slimy son of a demon," Bruce was the one who replied with a look of slight annoyance. "But I get why you are so annoyed Nyssa; I am annoyed for the same reason. I had imagined us spending tonight a lot differently than this." He admitted.

The three were currently in an abandoned factory on the outskirts of Gotham and were in the final stages of making the preparations needed to trap and kill the gunslinging demon permanently. They had everything they needed. From Bruce's knowledge about the supernatural world that he learned from the elder Zatanna, Tommy's experience of killing demons, and finally the Ace of the Winchesters, the shotgun that could apparently kill any demon or infernal creature. They only needed to end this as soon as possible and then they could finally go home to a night of well-deserved rest.

"Okay, we are ready now. According to what you told me, the sigil drawn on the roof should summon Mawzir here. At the same time, the sigil on the floor right below the summoning sigil should stop him from moving while the extra salt circle around the trap will act as a secondary protection in case the demon proves to be too strong for the sigil to hold. And finally, when the Mawzir is trapped inside the circle, we will just riddle him with magic bullets. Did I get any of that wrong?" Tommy asked with a toothy grin on his lips while raising the magic gun in his hand.

"By the way, how does this thing even work? Does it have infinite ammo or something? Are we sure it can even kill that demon in reality? Or are we just going to believe in a tale that honestly seems too suspicious and farfetched to be a fact?" Nyssa asked as she eyed the gun in Tommy's hands.

"I already verified its authenticity. That is not a normal shotgun. It's made from some very interesting materials with some very ancient markings, micro-sigils, and runes drawn inside. Hell, it even has a couple of precious gems as part of its mechanism too which means that different types of mage-crafts were used in constructing the gun. Honestly, it's a piece of art that in theory should be able to do what it is advertised for. As for whether it has infinite ammo, no. Apparently, even though the gun is... magical, it doesn't need any magical or special bullets. It can turn any normal bullets shot from it into demon-killing projectiles." Bruce revealed. He had already used all his Bat-tool's array of sensors and analyzers as well as his own intuitive intelligence ability to try and figure out how the thing worked exactly.

Of course, he had only scratched the surface in that regard due to the heavy voodoo magic shit involved in the making of the gun, but he had somewhat already figured out its fundamental working principle.

"So, what are we waiting for then? Let's summon that bastard and smoke his ass up. I promised to drink a few beers with one of my friends after this. I was thinking about asking for his help to get rid of that demon but now I won't have to owe that guy a favor anymore. That said, he has too many issues of his own to bother with mine. I mean the guy suffers from split soul disorder for god's sake." Tommy chuckled without bothering to explain any further.

"... Okay. I think we should start now. The demon is not going to kill itself and I also have things to do after this." Bruce shrugged before taking his place in front of the sigil. He then began to mutter something in fluent Latin and just a few minutes after the incantation started, a black smoke slowly began to rise from the sigil. Within a few short moments, the smoke materialized into the grotesque figure of the gunslinging demon before it began to try and force its way out of the sigil.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"A summoning circle and a Devil's trap!? How dare you bring us here without our permission? You will suffer for your digressions in hell." The Mawzir threatened before taking out all of its guns and pointing them at us. BANG Ten different handguns shot at Bruce at the same time but unfortunately for the demon, none of the shots could get past through the barrier of the sigil. They were all stopped in the air by some invisible force.

"No demon or demonic energy can cross this mark. You are truly trapped in there with no escape, Mawzir." Bruce explained as Tommy finally aimed his gun at the Hellspawn.

Seeing the nozzle of the shotgun being aimed in its direction, the Mawzir for the second time looked genuinely scared. The demon remembered the first time when it was this afraid. It was when it had to stand in front of the ruler of hell, Lucifer. Even though that encounter barely lasted for more than a few seconds, the primal fear that it felt at that time had been imprinted in its soul forever. The Mawzir had sworn at that time that it would do everything in its power to never be in such a situation again. But alas, fate had screwed him up. So, the demon quickly began to think of various ways to escape or somehow survive this. "Wait, you can't pull the trigger. If we die, they will just send more powerful demons after you. They will never stop until you are either dead or you agree to work for them as their Hitman... But maybe we can work out a deal that benefits us all. I can..."

"Not interested. A friend once told me to never make a deal with a demon, no matter what. Considering that he is technically half a demon himself, I will prefer heeding his advice." Tommy quickly interrupted before turning to me. "Will you like to do the honors, Mr. Wayne, or should I?" He questioned.

"Go ahead, knock yourself out," Bruce said with a smile as Tommy Monaghan eagerly pointed the gun at Mawzir. However, before he could fire, the demon roared loudly, and a small crack appeared in the pipeline right above it. In the very next moment, a torrent of water burst from the pipe, erasing part of the circle drawn on the floor. Seizing the opportunity, Mawzir quickly drew its own weapon to counterattack.

The entire thing happened so quickly that neither Nyssa nor Tommy had the time to register what exactly had happened, but Bruce's advanced senses weren't easy to fool. Because of the hundreds of movies he had watched in his previous life, he knew that things could go wrong in hundreds of ways at any moment when it came to trapping or hunting demons. So, mentally he was more or less ready for anything. Thus, even though the presence of faulty water pipes in an abandoned factory slightly surprised him, it was nothing too startling.

He quickly drew his own Bat-tool at almost lightning speed and shot a couple of plasma shots at the demon to throw it off balance before quickly snatching the Ace of the Winchesters from Tommy's hands and using it to shoot the demon straight in the face.

The entire incident lasted only a couple of seconds, but the end result could not be clearer. The now headless Mawzir kept standing for a few brief moments more, its demonic body still spasming as if it still could not believe that the fight was over just like that but with another shot aimed straight at its chest, its body began to break apart into dust, ash and sickly black smoke until it slowly completely disappeared into nothingness.

"What? H-How were you that fast? Even my super sense of danger could barely detect what was happening. But you pulled your gun and killed it even faster than even that demon could react. That was almost... no, that WAS superhuman." Tommy Monaghan kept staring at the billionaire like he was a freak of nature.

"A healthy balanced diet is the secret of my energy." Bruce just shrugged as if what he did was the most normal thing in the world before throwing the shotgun at Tommy, "Here, keep it. I have a feeling that you will need this again quite soon. Consider it a favor."

"Letting me keep a billion-dollar antique gun that can kill all demonic creatures is a favor? I am almost afraid of what you will be asking from me when you tell me to pay back this favor... Are you sure you don't want this back?" Hitman asked as he looked at the exquisitely designed gun in his hands, a gun that would hopefully keep him alive until the idiots back in Hell decided that he was too expensive of an employee to poach.

"Yep. And honestly, if I wanted a cool gun that could kill everything on sight, I would just make it myself. As a matter of fact, I think I might even do that. After all, you can never have too many guns."
