Chapter 4069 Uncle Supreme
Chapter 4069 Uncle Supreme
"Why have you gone silent?"
Myria's voice rose, "Back then, you didn't hunt me. I thought it was because you were still Uncle Supreme and silently rejoiced, but now, fate finally forced you into this position. Are you still not going to take my life?"
"…"
The Celestial Transcendent seemed to be at a loss for words while Myria kept staring without a hint of ripple in her eyes.
The incident within the soul sea was nearly instant. This was almost no different from a soul battle, so she wasn't particularly bothered about talking here. She wasn't bothered to hide her location either, as the Celestial Transcendent had left the Third Layer.
It wouldn't be until a while before he could return, whether it be a few hours or weeks. After all, there was only a small number of Upper Realm nodes. It would take a long time if a node can't be found.
However, she doubted the Celestial Transcendent would be willing to kill her with his own hands, considering how he reacted.
It was just like Davis said. Uncle Supreme didn't expose her at all.
The Celestial Transcendent heaved a sigh and lifted up his hand. Rubbing his forehead, he looked at Myria with a troubled look.
"Indeed, I cannot willingly extricate myself from this tribulation. I have to kill you, but I don't want to, so I hope you're strong enough to surpass this tribulation, Little Myria."
He clenched his fists, feeling a force that was as high as fifteen levels higher.
His brows raised with a hint of surprise, "How powerful. I guess your prowess is fourteen levels higher. That is great. You are almost catching up to that lad who wants to marry you."
"Watch out!"
He warned, and his fist became covered in chaotic and annihilative heavenly yin energy. The sudden transformation was many times powerful. He sent a fist towards Myria.
There was no shockwave, much less a terrifying manifestation of an attack.
However, it struck Myria from nowhere, causing her to explode. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
The Celestial Transcendent's eyes widened, not because he saw Myria's soul shatter but because he sensed it was nothing but an illusion.
Surprisingly, he got caught in it, and so did all the Twelve Paragon Magical Beasts that moved but actually didn't. They were still in their place, interlocked by strange threads made out of life energy.
He looked at Myria reappear, making him want to praise her as he realized her prowess wasn't fourteen levels higher but more, possibly fifteen levels higher, but he guessed that there was more to it than it meets the eye.
Myria's lips couldn't help but curl into a pleasant smile.
"I am married."
"Huh…?" The Celestial Transcendent was just about to attack again, but he forcefully came to a stop.
He stared at Myria, unable to believe what he had just heard.
"Accurately, I consider myself married because I became his wife. You should know what it means. Your main body should've felt it by now. But I guess information from the main body hasn't been transmitted back to you since you didn't realize."
"..."
"In other words, I am his family," Myria slowly explained as she stood at ease, "And you just broke your word."
It was the Celestial Transcendent whose expression violently twitched, his energy faltering at the palm of his hands.
"I imagined many ways where that lad would've made me falter and break the covenant, but to think it is through you. So diabolical…"
He clenched his teeth, chuckling wildly as though he was pissed.
"How insulting." Myria raised her hand and cast the Spear of Damnation as she took a battle pose, "He would never use me that way. You're the one who brought up the rules for the covenant. I didn't expect my tribulation factor to summon you either, but I wasn't surprised. Fortunately, it became a boon for us. But still, I hate you for jeopardizing his life, Uncle Supreme."
"Don't say that… it stings a bit…"
The Celestial Transcendent also raised his hand and punched out, a wave of icy purple-gray chaotic energy escaping from his fist as it shot toward Myria. It was incredibly powerful, almost reaching sixteen levels higher.
However, a ray of iridescent light pierced through the gigantic wave and stabbed right into his chest.
No blood splattered, but the iridescent energy rapidly wreaked havoc throughout the body the spear plunged into.
The Celestial Transcendent smiled willfully, "Well done."
He couldn't believe this little lass reached this kind of prowess. This heavenly avatar didn't stand a chance.
Her prowess was a far cry from what she achieved previously, making him wonder if this was all because of the two of them joining together. He didn't fail to imagine that their physiques were great for dual cultivation, as they were for Pure Yang Physique and Pure Yin Physique. But they were not together at the moment, so he guessed there was more to her prowess than meets the eye.
Myria's expression shuddered, but her gaze was still cold.
"If you still think of me as Little Myria, don't show your face for a hundred years. If anything happens to him or my family, I will hate you eternally."
"Haha." The Celestial Transcendent chuckled, "And here I was thinking I could grant you a painless eternal sleep if I ever found you. I could've sealed you from all this mess, and perhaps- sigh, it seems that I may have to brace for the inevitable, for the time that I may have to end you."
"That is fine. If you manage to kill us with the abysmal chances you possess, make sure to end our suffering. Or one of us will really turn into the greatest calamity you have ever known."
"I promise."
The Celestial Transcendent solemnly uttered as his silhouette completely faded.
"Send him my regards~"
A distant voice fell in her soul, making her close her eyes.
Myria was almost done forcefully refining the Paragon Magical Beasts in her space. She could've done the same to the Celestial Transcendent, but that would only make things worse.
When she opened her eyes, she was back underneath the tribulation clouds.
Only six seconds seemed to have passed outside.
*Rumble!~*
The tribulation didn't even cross a minute, just reaching thirty seconds, but it wasn't over yet because she had just refined annihilative heavenly yin and attracted a Heavenly Poison Tribulation.
Myria's face was expressionless. Because she knew what happened in Davis's Immortal Emperor Tribulation, nothing surprised her. However, meeting the Celestial Transcendent made her feel nostalgic and sorrowful.
She never wanted to be reunited with Uncle Supreme this way, but it seemed like fate didn't have other ideas for her. Her heart pained to stab him, but she shook her head, coming out of it.
She stored the annihilative yin energy in her life ring and then looked up as she witnessed the tribulation clouds being overwhelmed by the purple-black clouds. The annihilative aura became much more terrifying, and it caused Vereina to faint.
Even Illumina and Lereza looked like they were barely maintaining their consciousness.
Myria looked into the distance.
Only thirty-two seconds had passed, so she imagined that there was no need to be afraid. This tribulation was going smoothly according to the plan. She hoped it would finish sooner, but she could only wait for the Annihilative Heavenly Poison Tribulation to fall.
Vereina woke up at the thirty-fourth second, looking defeated.
However, her eyes soon brimmed with confidence since she knew she wouldn't lose to her tribulation's aura anymore since she experienced this one.
Illumina and Lereza also gained more resistance to this overwhelming pressure. Their breathing was no longer as hard as it was before.
At this point, only the thunderous roars of the tribulation echoed loudly in their minds. There was no sign of anyone.
When the thirty-ninth second arrived, the annihilative heavenly poison finally invaded her soul sea.
*Bzzz!~*
However, her counter was already ready. Before her soul essence could even be invaded with that extremely toxic heavenly poison, a reincarnation wheel appeared and refined the poisonous gas. It pulled the entirety of the annihilative heavenly poison and eradicated the furious Will inside.
Myria refined as much as twenty-one heavenly poison wisps in eight seconds before she expelled everything else and destroyed them.
The annihilative heavenly poison dispersed into the wind, and the dark crimson and purple-black clouds began to leave with low thunderous booms, almost as though it was whimpering on failing to kill an Anarchic Divergent.
"Elder sister, you successfully crossed your tribulation!" Lereza happily echoed.
Myria didn't waste time talking. She brought out an insane amount of immortal crystals and quickly drove her energy into the bottleneck and shattered it!
*Bzzzz!~*
Her body responded as her energy began to undergo a qualitative change.
Myria absorbed massive amounts of heaven and earth energy from the immortal crystals. There was nearly nothing in the surrounding air, after all. Soon, her fleshly body was refined by the new energy surging inside her like a spring. Her soul was also constantly nourished.
She glowed with sacred white light, entrancing the others, but the next second, she became an evil fiend, making them shudder from the life-ending death energy swaying around her. These two opposite energies swirled around her before a massive shockwave exploded as she stepped into the Immortal Emperor Stage.
"…!"
Myria's eyes shot wide open from the unnerving chill she felt, and she looked into the distance.
*Rippp!~*
Lereza and the others were overjoyed, but they failed to see a High Stage Autarch Grade arrow piercing through space and void to arrive before Myria, barely away from ripping apart her body into smithereens.
Myria was unable to react. The arrow was too fast!
*Bang!~*
Blood splattered as the arrow stabbed into an arm and caused it to explode.
Myria barely watched a dark silhouette flash past her and defend her with her own body.
It was none other than Illumina.
She held her shoulder, blood pouring out from the severed area in copious amounts. However, she didn't seem to care about it and hurriedly stood in front of Myria from the direction the arrow came.
"The next one is coming!~"
Illumina growled. She scanned the skies and spotted a black-winged man who could barely be seen underneath the dark clouds, his bow stretched and the powerful arrow taut before the strings, ready to be unleashed.
"You're not escaping from this Ghostly Crow Realm Master, you evil Anarchic Divergent."
