Chapter 1976 Celestial Pillars
Chapter 1976 Celestial Pillars
"So, the Monster Vine Seeds is not really a Warm-Welcome Gift but a trap set by the Celestial Dawn Sect."
Once Ajax finished explaining his thoughts, Siora was shocked.
"If my guess is correct, the Celestial Dawn Sect has done something with all the treasures in the Celestial Dawn Realm."
After explaining the trap set by the Celestial Dawn Sect, Ajax shared his guesses: "To receive those treasures, we should nurture the Monster Vine Seeds in our bodies, and to do so, we have to kill other participants who are nurturing the Monster Vines in their bodies."
These are all Ajax's assumptions and he needs time to confirm them. Nevertheless, he still shared them with Siora.
"T-then…are we going to kill everyone?"
Siora asked Ajax in a weak voice.
Although Siora was a peak emperor-level powerhouse with 50 percent of awakening percent in her Divine Forest Rule and could kill most cultivators in the universe, she didn't like killing.
Of course, if someone tries to harm her or her family, she won't hold back.
"Let's see."
Ajax didn't answer directly; however, Ajax didn't think too much about it.
Time continued to pass and it's been more than six hours since everyone entered the Celestial Dawn Realm.
Other than the Monster Vines, the participants encountered beasts where some unlucky participants were dead before they could regroup with their teammates.
'Rumble'
'Swiish'
'Swiish'
Just when everyone was getting frustrated for not finding any valuable treasures in the Celestial Dawn Realms, they noticed white-coloured pillars with golden runes rising from the ground.
"What are they?"
Looking at the white golden run pillars, all participants had the same question on their minds.
'Wait…the Monster Vine Seed in my Spirit Consciousness, it has matured.'
Before they could think about the suddenly appearing pillars, all the participants who swallowed the Monster Vine Seed, noticed that it had finally sprouted.
It was the same with Ajax as his Monster Vine Seed also sprouted in his Divine Spirit Consciousness.
'It looks like my assumption is right! The Monster Vine Seeds have something to do with those White Pillars.'
There were exactly a hundred White Pillars all over the Celestial Dawn Realm and luckily, there was one not far from Ajax's location.
[Celestial Step]
'Swoosh'
With a single step, Ajax brought Siora with him and appeared in front of that White Pillar.
'Hm…should I touch it to trigger it?'
There was no explanation given by the Celestial Dawn Sect or the spirit of the Celestial Dawn Realm. So, there was no clue regarding what those Golden-runed White Pillars were.
Hence, Ajax thought to touch them to see whether he would trigger some mechanism.
'Swoosh' n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
However, before he could do that, the sprouted Monster Vine in his Divine Spirit Consciousness flew out of his body on its own.
'Huh? Where do you think you are going?'
Despite the vine's quick movement, Ajax was faster as he grabbed the small one-inch Monster Vine.
'Yi Yi'
The Monster Vine, obviously can't speak or even communicate spiritually in its current form; however, he struggled to break free from Ajax's hands, making sounds.
'Hm'
Ajax thought for a moment before releasing the Monster Vine to see exactly what it was trying to do.
'Swiish'
Once it became free, the Monster Vine excitedly flew into the White Pillar…that's right! It directly flew into the White Pillar.
[Congratulations to the participant for successfully nurturing the Monster Vine and bringing it into the Celestial Pillar]
The moment the Monster Vine entered the White Pillar, Ajax heard an Ancient Voice in his head, congratulating him.
'...'
Ajax was only surprised for a moment to hear the Ancient Voice in his head and waited for the Ancient Voice to speak again.
[As a reward, you can receive one of the following rewards]
[1) A Greater World Core]
[2) A Divine Rule Crystal]
[3) 100-year Nurturing for the Monster Vine]
Three options for the rewards appeared on the Celestial Pillar in front of Ajax, asking him to pick one.
A Greater World Core is extracted from a Greater World and it has many uses, and it is mostly used to increase the awakening percent of the Divine Rules by the cultivators.
A Divine Rule Crystal can help a cultivator who hasn't awakened any Divine Rule to awaken a Divine Rule and at the same time, its awakening percentage would be increased by anywhere between 1 to 10 percent, depending on the luck of the cultivator.
When the cultivators with existing Divine Rules use it, one or two of their Divine Rules will be increased from 5 to 10 percent depending on the cultivator's luck. 'I can skill the Greater World Core as I can easily get my hands on them.'
Generally, the cultivators would die for the World Cores and even if it was a smaller world core, they don't want to easily give up, much less the Greater World Core.
However, unlike them, Ajax can extract the world cores on his own and in this universe, there were countless worlds for Ajax to extract the world cores.
Hence, he directly skipped the Greater World Core without thinking much. 'As for the second item, it was even more useless.'
Compared to the Greater World Core, the Divine Rule Crystal has less value compared to the Greater World Core which has multiple uses.
Ajax already has so many Divine Rules and all their awakening percent has been upgraded to beyond what he could currently use.
The Divine Rule Crystals are only useful for the Divine Rules with an awakening percentage of less than 10 percent and clearly, they are useless to Ajax.
'As for the third reward, I am most interested in it.'
Since Ajax already realized the trap set by the Celestial Dawn Sect he could tell that the Monster Vines are very crucial in the Celestial Dawn Realm.
Moreover, nurturing the Companion Formed Monster Vine through external means was extremely slow.
Hence, Ajax decided to pick the third reward which was instantly nurturing his Monster Vine into a 100-year Monster Vine was a wise decision.
'The most important thing is, it is just the first reward for bringing the Monster Vine into the Celestial Pillar.'
