Chapter 1988: Generous Rewards
Chapter 1988: Generous Rewards
'Let's check the rewards from the Celestial Pillar first.'
Even though Ajax was curious about his Monster Vine's second ability, Ajax wanted to get the rewards from the Celestial Pillar quickly.
This time, he had destroyed 30 Celestial Pillars when he was only required to destroy one Celestial Pillar. So, Ajax was more curious about the rewards from the Celestial Pillar.
Hence, Ajax looked at the Celestial Pillar where rows of text started appearing.
[The participant has destroyed 30 Celestial Pillars. The rewards will be calculated accordingly]
The first row already made Ajax smile as he focused on the reward options.
[The rewards for completing the earlier task are as follows:]
(1) A Divine World Core X1]
[A world core belonging to a Divine World that could greatly help the cultivator in increasing the awakening percentage of his Divine Rules]
(2) A Rule Breaking Crystal x3]
[A special item that can break the limits of the awakening percentage of the Divine Rules on the cultivators' bodies by 10 percent]
[3) Awakening of Divinity in the Monster Vine]
[With this, the cultivator's Companion Vine has the chance to evolve into a Divine Monster Vine and ascend to the Heavenly Realms along with the cultivator]
[4) A Higher World Tree Seed]
[The highest grade of World Tree below the Heavenly Realms and it is believed that nurturing the tree for one million years will evolve into a Divine World Tree.
[When it evolves, it would ascend to the Heavenly Realm while bringing its nurturing along with it to the Heavenly Realm]
[5) 100 hours in Celestial Cultivation Chamber]
[100 minutes in the Celestial Dawn Realm but 100 hours of cultivation session in the Celestial Cultivation Chamber where the Celestial Pillar will be protected for those 100 minutes]
[Due to the exceptional performance of the Participant during the second task, he can pick any three rewards from the above list]
Soon, the list of five rewards appeared on the Celestial Pillar and unlike before, there was clear information about each one of those rewards.
'T-this...'
When he read the rewards and their information, Ajax was pleasantly surprised at the generous rewards provided by the Celestial Pillar.
However, when he read the last row of the text, Ajax was thoroughly shocked because he was not expecting that he could pick not one but three rewards from the list.
That's right!
Instead of one reward like before, Ajax was given the option to pick three rewards from the list which was entirely because of his exceptional performance of destroying thirty Celestial Pillars.
'When I was reading the rewards, I was in a dilemma on which one to choose; however, now, I am no longer worried.'
Coming out of his shock, Ajax chuckled with great excitement.
How could he not be excited?
Upgrading the rewards but making him pick only one was, actually not a good thing but a cruel thing to do.
However, now, he got to pick three things from the upgraded rewards and of course, he was over the moon.
'It would be quicker if I eliminate the things I have the least use compared to the other things.'
Without wasting any time, Ajax started eliminating the two things that he found least useful among the five rewards.
'The first reward is obviously the least useful one for me.'
Ajax didn't have to think much as he directly eliminated the first option because he could easily extract the world cores and merge them into Divine Cores.
For other cultivators, Divine Cores are the most valuable things; however, for Ajax, they are the least valuable when compared with other rewards from the list.
'For me, the Rule Breaking Crystals are the most useful ones. There is no way, I won't pick them.'
Generally, a low-level Emperor Realm Cultivator can only awaken his Divine Rule by 10 percent, a mid-level Emperor Realm Cultivator can awaken by 30 percent and a High-level Emperor Realm Cultivator can fully awaken it. Of course, it won't be that.
The 10 percent and 30 percent of awakening for the low and mid-level Emperor Realm Cultivators are the limitations that they could not exceed and even if they force themselves to awaken, the additional awakening percentage would be sealed just like how Ajax's Divine Rules awakening percentage was sealed beyond 30 percent.
Of course, Ajax was still a low-level Emperor Realm Cultivator; however, he was both Divine Body Cultivator and the Divine Spirit Cultivator, making his body stronger and thus, he could use the Divine Rules with the awakening percentage of 30.
Any further would make his body explode despite his Special Cultivation Paths.
'However, with these Rule Breaking Crystals, I can use an additional awakening percentage of 10 than what my body can bear without any problem.'
If Ajax had only one option to select, he might have chosen this option because it would instantly make him a lot more powerful than he currently was.
'The third reward is related to Monster Vine awakening a Divinity. Of course, I want it too.'
In his Divine Inner World, Ajax has already started working on turning the Garden Formed Monster Vine into a Divine Vine and now, with this reward, he could turn his Companion Formed Monster Vine into a Divine Vine.
'With two Divine Monster Vines, my battle prowess would reach the next level.'
Anything that has reached the Divine Level would greatly help him. So, Ajax decided to pick it.
'High World Tree Seed. This can be eliminated as I already have a Higher World Tree in my Divine Inner World.'
'Moreover, if I really want more Higher World Trees, I can nurture them myself from the Lesser World Trees.'n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Since Ajax has nurtured his current Higher World Tree from a Lesser World Tree and nurtured many Standard World Trees and even Higher World Trees before, he was confident in doing it
more.
Ajax didn't think much and eliminated it just like how he eliminated the Divine World Core in the beginning.
'However, there is interesting information that even the system didn't know about the Higher World Tree.'
There was something that caught Ajax's eye when he read the information about the Higher World Tree which made him curious.
