Number One Dungeon Supplier

Chapter 2154 The Dashavatara (Kalki, Parashurama) -Part 22

"Let us out of this place and we guarantee that we will leave your kingdom alone for the foreseeable future," Kalki said and Jin shook his head.

"Heh! I trust the Demons and Devils more than the Celestials when it comes to promises. You might leave us alone but will your friends and comrades do the same thing as well?" Jin replied and Parashurama gave a jab back at him.

"Be grateful that there is even such a deal!" Parashurama shouted but Kalki turned her head to give him a quick stare down, forcing him to shut up for a moment. In turn, the Celestial Avenger clicked his tongue as he was here to bash people up, not to wait like an obedient puppy.

"Well, the fact that the Goddess of War is willing to negotiate means that you all do not have a chance against us." Jin finally stood up and walked towards Kalki. He then signaled her to the side where there was a squarish table where she and Parashurama could sit and there were armed military officers holding onto various sealed documents waiting at the side of the table.

"These are my conditions. I suggest that you read it first in full before making any comments. Also, have a bite on those snacks if you are feeling peckish. The war does take a toll on the body, don't you think? And would you prefer any coffee or tea?" Jin asked as he sat right at the side of the table awaiting how Kalki would react to this.

To Parashurama, it felt extremely outrageous especially when Jin was treating them as if they were some sort of customer. However, Kalki played along the entire act. In fact, the moment she read the conditions, it felt as if they were now being treated as they were customers.

"...You want us to be your customers...?" Kalki had a giant question mark on her head the more she read the documents.

"Yes, do you think that I am doing all of these is to challenge the Celestials?"

"Then this battle...?" The more Kalki read the documents and the more she tried to predict the future with her future sight, it was getting hazy. Was it a trick by Jin to confuse her?

"It's a demonstration that we are no more inferior than you guys. It also acts as a guarantee that we can protect ourselves should the Celestials ever misbehave." Jin said as he took a toffee biscuit and munched on it after explaining to Kalki.

"So, all those people that died-"Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"We will compensate the necessary items and materials essential for your resurrection or restarting the birth cycle. And if we are able to-given the chance, we can attempt to resurrect your comrades back again." Jin said and this was the first time both Kalki and Parashurama were dumbfounded.

While she was not exactly the person to be dealing with business affairs, Kalki might actually be the only one who could understand Jin's intentions given that she had the future sight ability with her.

"You mean all of these... is just an act of demonstrating your capability just for us? You knew that we were coming and you do all of this?" Kalki reiterated as a confirmation and Jin nodded his head.

"I am a Dungeon Supplier and I supply dungeons instances. By definition, what you will experience would be something akin to a simulation and a real one at that. But what you are experiencing right now is something akin to a dungeon instance albeit that we are using real life targets." Jin replied.

"And do those subjects of yours willing to kill and die for you once they hear the truth?"

"What are you talking about? For the past year, they had been living and breathing fighting in and out of dungeons. What you see is the proof that we survive using only dungeons and dungeons alone.

Dungeons are the only thing that allowed this corruption infested, sin wrecked kingdom into a society that is able to fight and kill Celestials." Jin commented and those who were in this room resonated with their king's words.

Kalki realised that she was at a disadvantage in terms of attempting to derail the conversation with Jin. In fact, it fortified their resolve even more. The moment Jin said the word Dungeon, Kalki was made aware that each and every one of the soldiers in this room had a slight smile on their face. The experience of such dungeons was immensely appreciated and it goes to show that he was not lying.

"So what if you can create dungeons? Our Higher Beings create dungeons as their past time." Kalki rebutted, feeling not interested in the likes of a human being to create dungeons. And as of right now, she was curious how could a human create dungeons so easily.

To be able to manipulate a dimensional instance and create monsters as such to fight against them would be something the Celestials would have found out and scouted.

"It seems like you are mistaken. I said this as an entertainment side of things. These dungeons...hmmm What about this? Why don't you try one of my dungeon instances and see how things go? I assure you that it would provide you the entertainment and training needed ...especially for such warriors as yourself?" Jin remarked and it started to pique Kalki's interest.

"You already saw that we are capable of hurting you, the dungeon instance would have a similar effect, just non lethal because it is in an instance where I assure you that your life would not be harmed. That also means you no longer have to fight against inferior beings.

You will always be challenged or at least, I will make the challenge …erm bloated, or artificially created so that if you win, it would at least be a minor achievement of the day kind of thing." Jin said and Kalki smiled deviously.

It was true that she did not have a challenge for ages and it would be different from this particular scenario she would be in where the fight she did would be meaningless. Of course, the dungeon instance would be a meaningless fight but at least, the aim was to have fun and be entertained unlike where the situation she was in right now against Jin.

It's whether she risked it all and fought for her life for nothing or she will die a miserable death because she did not even give a thought to the proposal that Jin did.

"Alright, we will give it a try. Parashurama, you are coming with me." Kalki said and Jin's gamble paid off.
