At the same time… The opulently furnished office at the Glory Entertainment Center welcomed two new and rather distinguished guests. The two newcomers were seated on the same sofa as Stanley and his cousin.

One of the men was obese, with a pallid complexion and bloodshot eyes. He was none other than Doug Wei from the Southern Coast of Jinxi Province—the man whose hands had been utterly destroyed by Yaeger.

Upon closer inspection, it became evident that his sleeves were empty—his hands were gone. Following his devastating injuries, his hands had to be amputated to save his life.

Doug was supposed to spend months recovering from the operation, but the seething rage in his heart tormented him relentlessly. The agony in his heart would never subside as long as that accursed woman continued to draw breath. Thus, he had come here today with an expert who could eliminate her once and for all.

Seated beside him was the expert—a man in his thirties, dressed in bright yellow kung-fu slacks. Though his clean-shaven face was unremarkable, his hawk-like eyes carried a sharp and imposing presence.

There was no mistaking him for a virtuous man.

Doug trembled violently, his pale lips quivering as he spat out venomous words, "Kill… that woman. I’ll tear her to pieces—kill her even after she’s dead!"

Stanley and Mack, seated nearby, instinctively shifted away at the same time, quietly putting distance between themselves and this clearly deranged man.

Seated opposite, Scarry frowned deeply before saying, "Doug, it’s best if you let this go. You can’t afford to make an enemy of that woman." Though he knew his words would likely fall on deaf ears, he felt compelled to try.

"I must kill her, Brother Nan! You have to help me find her. Name your price—whatever it takes! I swear, I’ll see her dead!" As expected, Doug ignored him completely, his expression twisting further as he roared with even greater fury.

Stanley grimaced in disgust, raising his hands to cover his ears. ‘What the hell? Where did this lunatic come from?’ he thought to himself.

Scarry’s frown deepened with displeasure, but he still offered earnest advice, "Mister Wei, you must already know—she’s a Pinnacle Master, immensely powerful. In fact, she’s regarded as one of the strongest of her kind. Going after her would be nothing short of suicide."

It was clear he had no desire to get involved in such a dangerous affair. After all, who knew if that woman, [Princess], would figure out the connection and return to exact vengeance on the Entertainment Center, reducing everything he’d built to rubble?

"You don’t need to concern yourself with this. Just provide us with her information," the man in the bright kung-fu slacks, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke up.

"And you are?" Scarry asked, his expression marked by confusion as he turned toward the man.

"I am Hank Zhao, from Dragonbane Mountain in Jinxi Province. A Half-Step Grandmaster," the man in kung-fu slacks introduced himself with calm confidence.

"Half-Step Grandmaster?" Leroy, who had been standing quietly behind Scarry, suddenly exclaimed in shock upon hearing the title.

"What exactly is a Half-Step Grandmaster?" Scarry asked, glancing back at Leroy, his confusion evident.

Leroy exhaled softly, steadied himself, and then replied in a measured tone. "A Half-Step Grandmaster is the pinnacle of all Pinnacle Masters," Leroy explained. "They’re halfway to the Grandmaster Realm and wield immense power."

As he spoke, an ache spread through his chest. The bones that Yaeger had once shattered now throbbed with a dull, familiar pain.

Hearing this, Scarry let out a deep breath, visibly shaken. The man before him was truly formidable. Doug had actually managed to hire someone of such terrifying caliber to exact his revenge!

"At least you’re informed," Hank said, casting an approving glance at Leroy. Hank had noticed Leroy’s presence long ago but hadn’t bothered to acknowledge him. To him, their statuses were worlds apart.

"Let’s cut to the chase," Hank said. "Doug is a member of Dragonbane Mountain. Since he lost his hands here, it’s fair to say that you people bear some responsibility." Hank turned his gaze toward Scarry, releasing an oppressive aura that bore down on him like a crushing weight.

"Master Zhao, are you planning to make an enemy of the [Hidden Xu Family]?" Despite the sharp pain radiating from his chest, Leroy struck out with his fist, dissipating the oppressive aura that had been weighing down on Scarry.

Scarry remained dazed, cold sweat streaming down his face as he struggled to process what had just happened. In that brief moment, Scarry had felt as though a bulldozer was bearing down on him, the pressure growing with every passing second, threatening to crush him entirely.

The harrowing experience left him deeply shaken to his very core.

‘Maybe this man really could kill [Princess]!' In that instant, the fear and awe he once felt toward Yaeger began to wane. Before long, it would likely vanish entirely.

Meanwhile, Stanley and Mack watched the scene unfold with bewilderment. ‘What on earth are these two doing?’ they wondered.

From their perspective, Hank merely stood and stared, while Leroy flailed at empty air like a madman.

"Brother Nan, you mentioned Half-Step Grandmaster and Pinnacle Master earlier. What do those terms mean?" Stanley, ever curious and eager to learn, wasted no time asking for clarification.

Scarry glanced at Stanley with mild surprise but quickly pieced things together. This second young master must have little sway within his family—he didn’t even know the basics about martial artists!

For someone from one of the Four Major Families, such ignorance was telling. It was obvious he had no chance of ever becoming the family patriarch.

‘Not worth wasting effort on this one,’ With a resigned sigh, Scarry replied, "It’s hard to explain fully right now. Just know that they practice martial arts." The details were too complex to dive into, and he had no intention of elaborating.

"Martial arts? How strong are we talking?" Stanley pressed further, his curiosity piqued. He couldn’t help but think back to the humiliating defeat his subordinates had suffered at the hands of that [Princess].

Scarry stared at Stanley, momentarily at a loss. How could he even begin to describe the strength of a martial artist?

At that moment, a voice broke the silence. "Bumpkin."

All eyes turned as Hank raised his hand and calmly brought it down on the marble coffee table. His expression remained composed as his palm connected with the table’s surface.

"Did you just call me a bumpkin?" Stanley’s usually composed face darkened with anger. As the esteemed second young master of the Lin Family, being called a ‘bumpkin’ was nothing short of infuriating.

"Hmph," Hank grunted dismissively, retracting his hand with deliberate slowness. In the next moment, everyone, including Stanley, froze in shock. A massive, perfectly defined palm print had appeared on the marble surface.

But that wasn’t all. Cracks spiderwebbed across the tabletop, the sound of splitting stone echoing through the room. In the blink of an eye, the table collapsed entirely with a resounding crash. The once-sturdy marble was reduced to rubble, effortlessly destroyed.

The display was far more convincing than any words could have been. The sheer power of a Half-Step Grandmaster was truly terrifying. Stanley and Mack sat in stunned silence, utterly awed by what they had just witnessed.
